Heart Reef and Whitehaven Beach Helicopter Tour

This is a premium Whitsundays scenic flight that combines a helicopter ride with time on Whitehaven Beach. You’ll land for roughly 1.5 hours on the sand, with light snacks and cold drinks included, then head back into the air for views over Hill Inlet and the Great Barrier Reef, including Heart Reef. It’s a big-ticket option, but it covers two of the region’s headline sights in one trip without needing multiple tours.

The flight heads out towards Whitsunday Island first, where you’ll land on Whitehaven Beach for an approximate 1.5-hour stop. After a drink and something to eat, you’ll have free time to relax or wander along the beach. Back in the helicopter, the route continues past Hill Inlet and out over the reef to see Heart Reef from above. On the return flight, you’ll also pass Hayman Island, Hook Island, the Molle Island Group, with Whitsunday Island and Long Island visible in the distance.
