Small Group Kangaroo Island Tour with Seal Bay

This full-day 4WD tour is a wildlife-focused way to see more of Kangaroo Island without sorting out your own transport. You’ll visit Seal Bay to see sea lions on the beach, then spend the day looking out for koalas, wallabies and kangaroos in their natural habitat with an experienced local guide. Lunch, tea or coffee, water and national park fees are included, so it is a fairly easy day to book and turn up for. With a maximum of eight passengers, it is a more personal option than a larger coach tour. It is worth noting this tour is not suitable for cruise ship passengers, as it finishes later than the last ship tender.

You’ll travel by comfortable 4WD in a small group, with selected hotel pickup and drop-off included. One of the main stops is Seal Bay, where you can take a walk and watch sea lions resting on the sand. Across the day, your guide will take you to areas where you may spot koalas and wallabies, and later head to the north coast for kangaroo viewing around sunset with tea or coffee. A gourmet picnic or BBQ lunch is included, along with water and national park entry fees. The day involves some walking and suits travellers with at least moderate fitness, so it is not the best choice if you have difficulty walking.
