Phillip Island Golden Hour Penguin Tour with Island Pickup

This small-group evening tour is a straightforward way to see Phillip Island’s Little Penguins without sorting out transport yourself. You’ll be picked up from accommodation on Phillip Island or in San Remo, then head out with a local guide for a golden-hour loop that includes coastal scenery, wildlife spotting opportunities and General Viewing entry to the Penguin Parade. It’s aimed at travellers already staying on the island, not day-trippers coming from Melbourne.

After pickup from your Phillip Island or San Remo accommodation, you’ll travel by midi coach in a group of up to 15. The tour includes time at the Nobbies for a scenic boardwalk during golden hour, with chances to spot local wildlife such as wallabies, echidnas, seabirds, Cape Barren geese and fur seals. There’s also a stop around Cowes to look around the beachside village, shops and coastal streets. After the Nobbies, complimentary sparkling wine is served on board before heading to the Penguin Parade for General Viewing, where you’ll watch the Little Penguins come ashore at sunset. At the end of the evening, you’ll be dropped back at your accommodation.
