Overview
This is a short evening sail departing from Rottnest Island, with sunset views from the water and a more polished feel than a standard cruise. You’ll board a 12.5m catamaran, get a complimentary glass of bubbles and shared antipasto, and head out as the light starts to fade. There’s also the chance to see dolphins riding the bow. It’s a good pick if you’re already staying on the island and want a laid-back end to the day.

If you’re already doing a night on Rottnest, this is an easy add-on that feels a bit special without needing a full-day commitment. The inclusions are simple but useful, the boat is small enough to feel more personal, and sunset from the water is a good change from the usual island lookouts. Just keep in mind this is not a Perth departure, ferry transfers are not included, and cancellations are non-refundable.
What to expect
Board at Rottnest Island and arrive at least 15 minutes early for check-in. Once onboard, you’ll be welcomed with a glass of bubbles and shared antipasto before the catamaran heads out for an evening sail. There’s indoor lounge space as well as outdoor seating, so you can choose your preferred spot as the sun goes down. You can bring your own extra drinks if you want more than the included welcome glass. The trip returns to Rottnest after dusk, which means it’s aimed at people staying on the island rather than day-trippers from Perth.

- Change of date permitted once without penalty, provided 7 days notice is given.
- Late arrival or failure to board for any reason = 100% ticket loss. Please arrive at least 15 minutes early to begin boarding.
- Tour departs and returns to Rottnest Island (not Perth). Guests need to be staying at the island as this experience ends after dusk, after the last ferry return.
- Passengers needs to make their way over to Rottnest Island by ferry (not included)
- Expectant guests who are 28-36 weeks pregnant will require medical clearance to board. Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate anyone over 36 weeks gestation.
