Kakadu National Park Wildlife and Ubirr Rock Art Tour from Darwin

This full-day trip from Darwin is a straightforward way to see a few of Kakadu’s big highlights without organising your own transport. You’ll travel by air-conditioned mini-coach with an experienced driver-guide, with commentary along the way, and visit Cahills Crossing to look for saltwater crocodiles in the wild. The main stop is Ubirr, where a guided walk takes you through ancient rock art sites and up to the well-known lookout. Kakadu National Park entry is included, and there’s also an optional jumping crocodile cruise available at extra cost.

The day starts with pickup from selected Darwin City locations before heading out towards Kakadu in a small coach. During the tour, your guide shares background on the region, wildlife and the places you visit. At Cahills Crossing, you’ll stop at the lookout for a chance to spot saltwater crocodiles in their natural habitat. At Ubirr, expect a guided walk to see rock art said to date back around 20,000 years, followed by the views from the top.
