2-Day K'gari Small Group Camping Tour

This 2-day K'gari tour gives you a solid look at the island’s headline spots without needing to organise transport, permits or camping yourself. You’ll travel with a small group of up to 13 people and a local guide, with return ferry, national park fees, meals and camping accommodation included. Highlights include Lake McKenzie, Central Station, 75 Mile Beach, Eli Creek and the SS Maheno shipwreck. Overnight, you’ll stay in a permanent powered bell tent rather than setting up your own campsite, which makes this a more comfortable camping option than some standard island trips.

The tour starts with pickup and transfer from either Noosa or Rainbow Beach, followed by the ferry over to K'gari. Over the two days, you’ll visit a mix of freshwater lakes, rainforest and beach driving routes, with stops at places including Lake McKenzie, Central Station, Eli Creek and the Maheno Shipwreck. There’s time to float in Eli Creek and take in the views along 75 Mile Beach. Food is covered across the trip, including breakfast, two lunches, dinner, morning tea and afternoon snacks. In the evening, the group heads back to camp for a beach sunset charcuterie and dinner under the stars before an overnight stay in a powered bell tent.
